The Next Generation of Medicine

Albany Medical Center, the anchor of the Albany Med Health System, is one of the largest teaching hospitals in New York State offering outstanding clinical care – from routine preventative care to sophisticated cancer and surgical care to life-saving emergency medicine – while training the next generation of medical providers and advancing critical biomedical research.

We offer 46 residency and fellowship programs. Our programs cover a spectrum of surgical, medical, and hospital disciplines. Residents and fellows enjoy an intimate learning environment with guidance from experienced faculty and access to the most advanced technology for specialty training and medical research.

Our programs are in compliance with requirements set by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
