Message from the Program Director
Our Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency is an ACGME-accredited five-year program that accepts one resident per year.
Our collaborative systems, experienced faculty, and mission to advance vascular health make us a unique and comprehensive vascular surgery training program. We are committed to training our residents to become excellent, proficient, and practice-ready vascular surgeons.
Albany Medical Center is the major referral center for northeastern New York and western New England, and Albany Medical Center Vascular Surgery has a reputation as the best regional resource for routine and complex vascular surgery. High clinical volumes and a broad range of vascular pathologies provide a strong foundation for the education of future vascular surgeons.
We are committed to providing this experience in a collegial and diverse atmosphere and we encourage the development of lifelong relationships and mentorships. Academic or private practice: our well-rounded education prepares graduates to succeed in whatever career path they choose.
