Train Where Expertise Meets Compassion

Rachel Flink-Bochacki, MD MPHThank you for your interest in our program! Our two-year ACGME-accredited fellowship is housed within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Division of Complex Family Planning and led by dedicated, board-certified CFP faculty. The program offers in-depth training in clinical care, surgical procedures, research, medical education, and advocacy, preparing fellows to become leaders in reproductive health.

Albany Med has a long-standing commitment to training physicians in family planning services and has been a Ryan Program since 2017. We benefit from New York State’s supportive legal environment, allowing us to focus on the needs of our patients. In addition to clinical training, research and advocacy training are integral to our program. Our goal is to foster critical thinking, academic curiosity, investment in education, community engagement, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to the field of complex family planning.

Our faculty are deeply committed to creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment. We value open communication, mentorship, and collaboration – and we are excited to help our fellows develop into confident, capable, and compassionate leaders in complex family planning.

Thank you again for your interest in the Complex Family Planning Fellowship at Albany Medical Center.

We look forward to meeting you!
