Meaghan Wakefield, DNP, CRNA
Dr. Wakefield is research director at the Center for Nurse Anesthesiology and an assistant professor at Albany Medical College. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Wake Forest School of Medicine, a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesiology from Albany Medical College, a BS in Nursing from Hunter College, and a LPN from the Eastern Suffolk School of Nursing.
She has worked as an instructor at Wake Forest School of Medicine and Albany Medical College. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and the New York State Association of Nurse Anesthetists, from which she received the Goldie Brangman Award for Research.
