David Giardinelli-O'Connor, PhD, DNAP, CRNA

Dr. Giardinelli-O'Connor is the research coordinator for the Center for Nurse Anesthesiology and an assistant professor at Albany Medical College. He holds a PhD in Health Related Services and a Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia Practice from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He holds a Master of Science in Anesthesiology from Albany Medical College.

He has been on the faculty of Columbia University School of Nurse Anesthesia, Rutgers University School of Nurse Anesthesia and Virginia Commonwealth School of Nurse Anesthesia. He was the assistant director of nurse anesthesia services at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, as well as the education coordinator for the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. He worked previously as a CRNA at several institutions including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, Albany Medical Center, Rockville Anesthesia in Rockville Centre, N.Y.
