Saratoga Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program
On behalf of our faculty and staff, I am excited to invite you to explore our Saratoga Hospital Family Medicine Residency program. In collaboration with Hudson Headwaters Health Network and Albany Medical Center, we have developed an innovative residency program providing excellent clinical training while emphasizing a broader public health and community-oriented approach.
Our three-year curriculum maximizes broad-spectrum clinical competence in both hospital and ambulatory medicine, with a special emphasis on behavioral health, addiction treatment, population health, rural health, and state-of-the-art technology, including point-of-care ultrasound and information technology.
Our residents have access to the resources of an academic health center while also working at Saratoga Hospital, a community hospital where we are the only residency. For their continuity experience the residents see their own patients at either a community health center in Saratoga Springs, NY, or a federally qualified health center in Glens Falls, NY, where they collaborate with a care team including pharmacists, counselors, and care managers to provide comprehensive care for patients.
While known for the historic thoroughbred racing track, Saratoga Springs and the surrounding area is considered an Upstate New York gem where you will find excellent restaurants, a first-class performing arts center and year round outdoor activities.
Our faculty have many years of clinical and educational experience and are looking forward to working with you as you develop both your clinical and leadership skills.
