About the Program

The Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship Program's focus is on bariatric surgery, general laparoscopy surgery (hernia, foregut, solid organ), robotic surgery, and upper endoscopy. The fellow will have attending surgeon privileges and be responsible for teaching the surgery residents rotating on the services. There will be ample opportunity to participate in both basic science and clinical research, and scholarly activity with presentations in national and international symposia. The fellow will be provided with the necessary stimuli to pursue a successful career in either private practice or academic surgery upon completion of the fellowship.
