Providing a solid foundation in the acute care pharmacy practice with an individualized learning experience led by skilled faculty.

Preparing the next generation of pharmacists

Virtual Open Houses Scheduled Throughout December (PDF)

Thank you for your interest in the Pharmacy Residency at Albany Medical Center. Our goal is to develop pharmacists with fundamental patient care, organizational, problem solving, and leadership skills that are critical to providing pharmaceutical care in an acute care setting. Albany Medical Center provides a highly supportive learning environment in which residents work and learn. Residents work closely with highly experienced pharmacists and caregivers from multiple disciplines to meet patient needs.

The environment provides the opportunity to learn from, and participate in, the care of a wide variety of complex patients. The program is highly adaptable to the individual resident’s learning needs and interests. Resident involvement in the collaborative, organized, and automated medication-use system at Albany Medical Center promotes the development of skills that form the foundation for the next step in their careers.

I look forward to hearing from you. Feel free to contact me.
