Message from the Program Director

Thank you for your interest in our Diagnostic Radiology Residency training program!

The Albany Medical Center Department of Radiology offers a medium-size residency with a collegial, intellectually stimulating, and friendly educational environment. You will work closely with our subspecialty attending radiologists dedicated to mentoring you through the radiology education process. With the large catchment area provided by Albany Medical Center, there is a broad case mix from common pathology to rare disease. Residents learn by actively participating, which ultimately makes for a better radiologist.

When it comes time to look for an attending or fellowship position, the intimate nature of this residency allows you to obtain personalized insight, guidance, and recommendations from members of our attending staff. A high percentage of our residents have chosen to go on to subspecialty training in many of the nation’s most competitive institutions with careers in both academic medicine and private practice.

We are proud of our training program and the residents we produce. We strive to provide a foundation for success.

We look forward to hearing from you!
