Pierce Randall, PhD

Dr. Randall completed his doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania. From 2019 to 2021, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership at the United States Naval Academy. Dr. Randall’s research focuses on political philosophy and its intersection with public health and health policy. His work also focuses on adjacent issues in normative ethics, such as coercion, manipulation, privacy, and the ethics of surveillance. Dr. Randall has an active research project in the ethics of charitable giving.

His work has been published in The Journal of Social Philosophy, Public Health Ethics, and Philosophy & Public Issues.
