Thank you for your interest in the Endocrinology Fellowship Program at Albany Medical College.

A two-year, ACGME-accredited training program, our Endocrinology fellowship is designed to provide a diverse clinical experience and prepare our fellows for a successful career in academic or clinical endocrinology. Our program offers a balanced mix of inpatient consults at Albany Medical Center and outpatient clinics at Albany Medical Center and the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center. Fellows train in their own continuity clinics as well as our specialty clinics including thyroid biopsy, transgender, lipid and transplant clinics. In addition, the program offers ample opportunity for in-depth research experience.

Our faculty share a commitment to medical education and creating an atmosphere that is conducive to the advancement of knowledge and our specialty. Division faculty comprise a wide range of backgrounds and interests with many holding dual certifications or other advanced degrees. Faculty members are practicing clinicians and educators. In addition, the faculty participate in research and in regional and national professional organizations.

Please contact us with any questions. We look forward to meeting you!

With enough clinical exposure and yet a balanced amount of time for studying, the program is a perfect fit for someone who’s looking for a place to train. After doing my residency at Albany Medical Center, I realized that Albany had become home for me. It was the perfect city to lay my roots and grow my family in, it is a quiet and calm city yet has all the conveniences available in a bigger metropolitan city.”
