Dr. Matthew Leinung is the Director of the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism. He is a specialist in endocrine disorders in adults including thyroid disease, pituitary disease, diabetes, adrenal disease and osteoporosis. He has been the principal investigator on many research studies, and has a special interest in leptin (a hormone), with regard to its potential in the management of diabetes mellitus and human obesity.
