Surgeon Joins Albany Med’s Kingston Location

ALBANY, N.Y., August 7, 2013 ‹ Surgeon Olakunle O. Oluwole, M. D., FACS, is now accepting patients in the Kingston area as a member of Albany Medical Center's expert team of general surgeons.
As an Albany Med surgeon based at Kingston Hospital, Dr. Oluwole will provide patients with support from Albany Med's large team of specialists who are trained to address virtually any complication or associated conditions patients may experience.
Board-certified in general surgery, Dr. Oluwole treats both adult and pediatric patients. For adults, he specializes in laparoscopic surgery, bariatric surgery, breast surgery, pacemaker replacement, dialysis access, gastrectomies, reflux and GERD, colon and bowel surgeries, anal rectal disease, Crohn's and colitis as well as gall bladder disease.
He treats pediatric patients for hernias, pilonidal cysts, abscesses hemorrhoids, lesions and other skin disorders.
Dr. Oluwole earned his medical degree from Columbia University, where he also completed a fellowship in immunology. He completed his residency in general surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital, and served most recently with Censeo Healthcare in Hartford, Connecticut.
Dr. Oluwole is committed to spending time in the community raising awareness about improving general health, including weight loss, treatment of obesity, and ways to avoid skin cancer.
