Dr. Kogan is a nationally recognized expert in the fields of urology and pediatrics. His specialties include genital and urinary tract reconstruction, prenatal urinary and kidney problems, and disorders of sex development in children. Dr. Kogan has received over 35 professional honors and awards, including national recognition from the American Urological Association Foundation for his outstanding work in the field of pediatrics and for enhancing the treatment of children suffering with urologic conditions.

As the director of the Urology Residency Program at Albany Medical College, where he holds joint appointments as professor of Surgery and Pediatrics, Dr. Kogan has been instrumental in transforming the division into one of the top residency programs in the United States.
