The Otolaryngology Residency Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and the American Board of Otolaryngology. It is approved for two residents in each training level year. The residency program is 5 years in length, integrating clinical, research, and teaching facilities at Albany Medical Center, Samuel S. Stratton Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, South Clinical Campus, and St. Peter's Hospital.
Satisfactory completion of one year of training in the Albany Medical Center General Surgery Residency Program is required as the first year of the Otolaryngology Program.
We participate in the American Otolaryngology Association Match Program and use the ERAS application process.
