$1 MILLION GIFT FROM GRATEFUL PATIENT CREATES ENDOWED CHAIR
Dr. Lewis Britton was installed as the Catherine Sheer Britton Endowed Chair in Cardiothoracic Surgery. The chair, funded with a $1 million gift from an anonymous donor, was named in memory of Dr. Britton’s late wife, Catherine Sheer Britton, who passed away in 2003.

Albany Medical College received a $392,000 grant from the NYS Department of Health to continue efforts to educate upstate primary care providers about the latest in HIV medicine.
