Albany Med Specialists Now Seeing Patients in Clifton Park
ALBANY, N.Y., July 16, 2012—The Albany Medical Faculty Physician Group is now seeing patients in Clifton Park. This multi-specialty practice location provides a convenient option for patients who reside north of Albany. The offices are located at 453 Route 146, Clifton Park, off Exit 9 of the Northway (I-87), and just east of Route 9.
Specialists in breast surgery, colorectal surgery, general surgery, plastic surgery neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology, and gastroenterology will be available on certain days of the week to see patients at the new location. Of particular note is the plan for fellowship-trained breast, colorectal and endocrine surgeons to provide services currently unavailable in Saratoga County.
“Our goal is to make it easier for patients to receive Albany Med’s highest level of specialized care by providing it more convenient to where they live,” said Ferdinand Venditti, M.D., vice dean for clinical affairs at Albany Medical College and head of its 350-member Albany Med Faculty Physician Group.
In addition to the new Clifton Park office, Albany Med specialists also see patients at the Physicians Pavilion at Albany Medical Center, Malta Medical Arts at 2388 Route 9, South Clinical Campus on Hackett Blvd, and at the Capital Region Health Park at 713 Troy-Schenectady Road.
Patients can visit the physician finder on Albany Med’s website (www.amc.edu) for contact information or call (518) 264-1900 or their individual doctor’s office.
