Dr. Michael Gallichio specializes in the medical and surgical management of renal and pancreas transplant recipients. He also is a provider of dialysis access procedures including novel and complex operations for patients with limited dialysis access options. As a member of Albany Med’s transplant team, he has helped contribute to the excellent patient and transplant graft outcomes that are some of the highest in the nation. Dr. Gallichio is one of the few surgeons to perform HeRO graft placement in New York State.
