Dr. Daniel Phelan's areas of interest include sports medicine and surgery of the knee and shoulder. Other areas of expertise include trauma surgery and knee and shoulder replacement. Following residency he completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine with Dr. Donald Fithian at the San Diego Knee and Sports Medicine Research Fellowship. He has authored several scientific papers on ACL injuries and surgery.
