Anne L. Barba, PhD, ABPP-CN, Clinical Neuropsychologist

 Dr. Anne Barba joined the Department of Neurology at Albany Medical Center in 2000. She completed doctoral training in psychology at the University at Albany, an internship at the VA Medical Center in Washington D.C., and a post-doctoral fellowship at AMC. Dr. Barba is a clinical neuropsychologist with special training in the evaluation of memory and other cognitive functions. She has worked with the Movement Disorders Division since 2001, and has particular interests in patients with Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. She has been actively involved in neuroscience research at AMC and has published on various movement disorders topics. In addition, Dr. Barba plays a key role in the pre and post operative neuropsychological evaluation of candidates for DBS surgery to treat Parkinson’s disease.
