Albany Medical Center is pleased to introduce you to our Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Service. Available to the local and regional medical community, our outpatient clinical facility is located on the third floor of the Albany Medical Center's Physicians Pavilion. A specially outfitted and state-of-the-art hyperbaric delivery system can safely and effectively treat electively referred outpatients
Physician's Guide
Our downloadable physician's guide is designed to introduce the physician and surgeon to the role of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in modern medical practice, and to provide guidelines for its use. Consultation is provided by a team of physicians trained in hyperbaric medicine at American Medical Association/Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society approved courses. A list of appropriate indications for hyperbaric referral is included in the downloadable guide. This listing represents disorders for which hyperbaric oxygen therapy is either the primary mode of treatment or an important adjunct to other measures.
