The Regional Comprehensive Hemophilia and von Willebrand's Disease Treatment Center (HTC) provides comprehensive health care for children with all types of Hemophilia, Von Willebrand's Disease, platelet disorders and other bleeding disorders. Comprehensive care is provided by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals with expertise in bleeding and blood-related disorders. The HTC serves all communities within the 25 northeastern counties of New York State, Berkshire and Bennington counties.

The HTC, as a member of the federal network of comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Centers, respects and supports your right to select the Pharmacy of your choice.
Albany Medical Center HTC is structured as a Federally funded 340B program, which allows us the freedom to provide options for your Factor delivery. An important part of our mission is to reduce the high cost of care for persons with bleeding disorders. The Albany Medical Center HTC Pharmacy Program plays an important role in lowering the cost of care. Our ability to purchase Factor through the Public Health Service discount program, pass savings onto you and your health insurance company. Every patient has the right to choose their Factor Pharmacy Provider. We support your right of choice and will assist you in making an informed decision. We also work with all Pharmacies for routine medication ordering, as well as any Specialty Pharmacy that you insurance company contracts with.
The HTC is staffed by a team of dedicated professionals including Physicians, Nursing, Social Work and Physical Therapy. We work closely with your Primary Care Physician and Specialists to coordinate your care for all routine and urgent needs. We provide patients and their families the knowledge, medical care and skills necessary to manage their condition and lead active and healthy lives.
