Manjula Salgam, MBBS

Dr. Salgam attended medical school at Rangaraya Medical College, Andhra University in India and was certified to practice medicine in 1992.  She completed her internship in India and practiced as an internist in a private group practice in India for two years.  After moving to the US, she served as the study coordinator for an NIH-funded research study at the VA Medical Center in Albany.  She came to Albany Medical Center in 1998, initially working as a research assistant and clinical study coordinator, and then joined the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism in 2000 as our Research Laboratory Manager.  She coordinates both clinical and administrative aspects of all clinical trials within the division. 

 

Dr. Salgam is married and has two children.  She is actively involved in community work at her temple.
