Ambulatory / Same Day Surgery
The staff at Albany Medical Center South Clinical Campus is pleased to make our Surgery Center available to you. At the AMC South Surgery Center you will have your surgery, recuperate for several hours under the supervision of our highly trained professional staff members and may be able to return home the same day. In certain instances, your surgeon may decide that your medical condition or surgical procedure warrants a longer stay. In that case, AMC South has an Extended Care Monitoring Unit for patients who require an extended stay. The newly remodeled in-patient rooms offer local telephone service and television at no extra charge.
All patient rooms and waiting areas have guest wireless available.
