Douglas G. Fish, M.D.

Dr. Fish is an HIV specialist at Albany Medical College who is involved in HIV patient care and clinical research. He is the Medical Director of the AIDS Treatment Center and the in-patient HIV Unit at Albany Medical Center, head of the Division of HIV Medicine, and assistant professor of medicine at Albany Medical College.

He completed his graduate medical education at Ohio State University College of Medicine, his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, and an Infectious Disease fellowship at the University of Arizona Health Sciences and Tucson Veterans Administration Hospital.

Dr. Fish is core faculty for the International AIDS Society and a member of the Medical Care Criteria Committee for the NYS Department of Health’s AIDS Institute. He is an active provider of HIV clinical education within the New York State Department of Corrections and is a member of the HIV Guidelines Committee for the Department.

He is a member of the Advisory Panel for the New York State AIDS Drug Approval Program (ADAP) and a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America.
