Specimen Collection: 5 mL blood (red, gold, or lithium heparin green top tube). 10-12 hour fasting required.
Pediatrics: 0.5 mL blood (lithium heparin green or red microtainer). 
Minimum Volume: 1 mL 
Handling Instructions for Offsite Areas: Allow to clot, centrifuge for 20 minutes, refrigerate.
