Handling Instructions for Offsite Areas: Serum: Allow to clot, centrifuge for 20 minutes, remove serum, refrigerate ASAP. Min 0.6 mL serum. Plasma: centrifuge for 20 minutes, remove plasma, refrigerate ASAP. Min 0.6 mL plasma. Separate serum or plasma from cells within 45 minutes of collection.
