Trained in both internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Hamish Kerr specializes in sports medicine and exercise physiology for children, teens, and adults. Dr. Kerr is an expert in the management of sports injuries, especially concussions. Fueled by his passion for sports, Dr. Kerr is involved with a variety of sports teams and associations, including serving as the director of medical services for Siena College's athletic teams. From young children to adult athletes, he prides himself on his thorough and empathetic approach to care.
A native of Scotland, Dr. Kerr graduated from the University of Glasgow before coming to Albany Medical Center for his residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics. He also received fellowship training in primary care sports medicine at Children's Hospital Boston. Dr. Kerr sees patients at the Latham Medicine/Pediatrics site where he specializes in sports medicine and adult and pediatric primary care.
