How To Make A Gift - Toy Donations
Time spent in the hospital, as a patient or a visitor, can be a stressful time for children. At Albany Medical Center, we want our youngest patients to feel as comfortable as possible. Certified Child Life Specialists use play to create a supportive environment, helping to alleviate some of this stress.
Help us make a child's day a little brighter by:
- Donating new and unwrapped toys to the Children's Hospital. Please refer to the list below for suggestions. The items currently needed the most are marked with **.
- Making Craft Kits to help children pass the time. Craft Kits are made up of directions and craft materials needed to complete the craft project. These are placed in a Ziploc bag to be given out easily to the children. Please call Child Life for more information at 262-3496.
- Making monetary donations to the Pediatric Play Therapy fund to support the creation of a new C7 playroom.
- Volunteering your time at the Children's Hospital.
