Student Health Services serves students of Albany Medical College, Albany Law School, and Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Care is provided for a wide range of issues including:
- General medical evaluation for acute problems such as fevers, respiratory illnesses, stomach pains, sprains and strains, skin rashes, minor emergencies
- Evaluation of sports-related injuries
- Onsite lab testing and x-ray
- Referrals to subspecialty care
- General Ob/Gyn care
- Pap smears and routine pelvic exams
- Pregnancy testing and referrals
- Screening, diagnosis, and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
- Contraceptive counseling, prescription, and management
- Flu shots
