Is the Library open to the public? 

Yes, the Library is open to the public Monday - Friday between 8 AM and 6 PM.  Best practice is to call before visiting: (518) 262-5530.

What resources are available to the public?

The Library's collection is available on-site to the public.  Search the online catalog to explore the collection.

May the public borrow materials from the Library?

DIrect borrowing is only available to AMC Students, Faculty, and Staff. The public must use their own public or academic library to request items through interlibrary loan. 

Are photocopiers available in the library?

Yes. Black and white copies are 15 cents per page. Color copying is not available. Please ask for assistance at the Library Service Desk.

Are there other locally available sources of information for health care workers?

Yes. Please read the Non-AMC Affiliated Health Care Workers Resource Guide for options.

In addition, other local library catalogs are available through the Capital District Library Council (CDLC). Please consult with each library for their individual access and borrowing privileges.

Where is the Library?

The Library is located between the Medical Science (MS) and Medical Education (ME) buildings on the College-side of the Center.   (See Directions)
