Dr. Andrew Dubin is an expert in musculoskeletal medicine with an emphasis on electrodiagnostic medicine and the treatment of spasticity. Many of his patients are children with cerebral palsy. With 19 years of experience in treating musculoskeletal issues and disabled pediatric population, Dr. Dubin is well-trained to work with medications and treatments for spasticity and neuropathic pain. He is also expert in the use of EMG-guided nerve blocks for diagnostic and treatment purposes. Because of his advanced subspecialty training, Dr. Dubin often treats more complex conditions – including spasticity in children. He is the only physician in the region performing botulinium injections on small children.
Dr. Dubin has been with Albany Medical Center since 1990 and is most proud of his teaching: “I am most privileged to have been teaching residents for the past 18 years, and will continue to for years to come,” he says. Dr. Dubin is an associate professor and Director of the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation program at Albany Medical Center.
