Dr. Paul Hospodar is expert in fracture care sports injuries, complicated sports trauma surgery, as well as joint replacement surgery. An avid skier, hockey player and outdoorsman -- he has a unique understanding of what is required to return athletic patients to the same quality of life as before their injuries. He is a team physician for the Albany River Rats and is a member of the Ski Patrol at Windham Mountain.
Dr. Hospodar joined Albany Medical College in 1994 as an associate professor, where he also participates in basic science and clinical research. “I treat every patient as I would my own family members,” he says, “and I teach residents and students to do the same.”
