Dr. James Lawrence specializes in the treatment of spinal disorders, including spine trauma, spinal cord injury, cervical spine, spine deformity, disc herniation, spinal stenosis, and degenerative and arthritic diseases of the spine. “As a faculty member at Albany Medical College,” says Dr. Lawrence, “I stay involved with efforts to advance medical science and research.” His research interests include spinal fusion, bone morphogenetic proteins, spinal arthroplasty, minimally invasive spinal surgery and nucleus replacement.
