Dr. Elizabeth Renaud is a board-certified pediatric surgeon specializing in general pediatric surgery with special expertise in minimally invasive surgical procedures for neonatal and pediatric patients.This includes laparoscopic appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colectomy, splenectomy, pyloromyotomy, and fundoplication, as well as thoracoscopic lobectomy, and video assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS), among other procedures. She also has an interest in pediatric tumors and inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr. Renaud has developed an adolescent bariatric surgery program, similar to the existing adult bariatric program, at Albany Medical Center. This multidisciplinary program accepts patients between the ages of 16 – 19 and incorporates nutritional, health and metabolic, psychological, social and behavioral support and guidance.
