Perinatal Outreach Program - Introduction

Welcome
As the designated Level IV, Northeastern New York (NENY), Regional Perinatal Center, Albany Medical Center provides transport and consultation services to all birthing hospitals in a 25-county area of northeastern New York and western New England. Our obstetrical and neonatal staff are highly-trained specialists, well qualified to assist women experiencing high-risk or complicated pregnancy, and infants requiring specialized care.

The mission of the Regional Perinatal Center (RPC) is to improve the quality of health care (neonatal and obstetrical) within the NENY region for patients, families and communities.
RPC responsibilities include:
