Julie Pilitsis, MD, PhD, associate professor of surgery in the Division of Neurosurgery at Albany Medical College, will serve as co-principal investigator on a $3 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to develop an MRI-guided robotic system that could offer safer, more accurate treatment options for patients with brain tumors.
