The Internal Medicine Group of Albany Med utilizes the latest medical techniques to diagnose and treat common medical problems and provides comprehensive primary care for patients 18 years of age and older.The Albany Med Faculty Physicians provide routine and preventive care, including physical exams, immunizations, diagnostic screening and referrals to specialists. Our experts also offer urgent care for health care issues that require more immediate attention.
We also offer the following services:
- Direct access to Albany Med's specialists within the Albany Med Faculty Physicians group
- Age-specific screening for numerous health issues
- Coordination of hospital care when needed
- Patient education designed to empower the patient to be a partner in their care
- An onsite laboratory that provides convenient specimen collections and blood drawing

Our Location
The Albany Med Internal Medicine Group operates a diagnostic and treatment facility conveniently located to public transportation and interstate highways. Our clinical site has been reviewed and fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care organizations and we provide over 25,000 outpatient visits per year, serving patients throughout the capital region and beyond.
