Shannon Rivers, Pharm.D., BCPS

Dr. Rivers is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Albany College of Pharmacy and a Clinical Pharmacist with the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Albany College of Pharmacy. She then continued onto a residency at the Albany College of Pharmacy and The Endocrine Group, LLP. The residency was in ambulatory care with a focus on diabetes and other endocrine disorders. In 2005, Dr. Rivers joined the staff at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Albany Medical Center. She holds a special interest in improving diabetes care by finding new ways to help patients receive the most benefit from their medications.
