As a collaborative team, the CRCCC strives to educate, inform and provide solutions on local childhood cancer issues, support children afflicted with cancer, their families and the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center.

The National Cancer Institute supports a variety of programs focused on the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and the families of cancer patients.

The Children’s Oncology Group (COG), a National Cancer Institute supported clinical trials group, is the world’s largest organization devoted exclusively to childhood and adolescent cancer research.

      Ronald McDonald House
  Charities of the Capital Region

The Ronald McDonald House provides a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at Albany Med and other hospitals as well as provides the Ronald McDonald House Family Room at the Children's Hospital.

The National Hemophilia Foundation is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for inheritable bleeding disorders and to preventing the complications of these disorders through education, advocacy and research.

The SCDAA assists in improving the quality of health, life and services for individuals, families and communities affected by sickle cell disease and related conditions, while promoting the search for a cure.
