Case #4 - Part One


An 84 yr old, male patient was diagnosed with coronary artery disease, artrial fibrillation, hypertension, and shortness of breath. Surgical options were discussed. The patient decided to proceed with percutaneous revascularization.

Pre-procedure, the patient showed blockages in the two major arteries (LAD & circumflex) off the left-main artery of the heart. Post-procedure, the blockages were relieved and reduced to zero percent.

The angiogram above shows the left anterior descending artery (LAD) which is 90% blocked. After the procedure, the blockages were cleared and reduced to zero percent.
