Albany Med has one of the most experienced thoracic surgery and thoracic oncology teams in northeastern New York. Our thoracic surgeons are highly skilled and renowned as leaders in their field and focused on individualized, compassionate care.

Albany Med’s thoracic oncology group includes board certified surgeons, oncologists, and radiologists who are specifically trained to treat patients with cancers of the lungs and esophagus. This multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to ensure that each patient receives highly individualized, coordinated care. 

From surgical treatments to non-surgical treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation, emotional support, and long-term management, the thoracic oncology group is dedicated to bringing the best care to patients.
