Neurosciences Institute - Alzheimer's Center - Directions
The Alzheimer's Center is located in the Neurosciences Advanced Imaging Research Center, Building "S" at Albany Medical Center. It is a free standing, one story building and is accessible from either Myrtle Avenue or New Scotland Avenue. Parking is available in front of the building for our patients and research volunteers.
Entrance from New Scotland Avenue:
Enter at the west end of Albany Medical Center across from the Albany College of Pharmacy. There is an access road that runs parallel to the CDPC parking garage with a sign that says "Employee Entrance Only". Turn in at this sign and follow the access road. It will take you under a corner of the CDPC parking garage. After the parking garage, turn right at the N1 building. You will see some oxygen tanks on your left and the "Q" building. Turn left after the "Q" building. The Alzheimer's Center ("S" building) will be on your left. You may park anywhere along the front of our building.
Entrance from Myrtle Avenue:
Heading East on Myrtle (one-way) cross South Lake Ave. Turn right into the service entrance where there is a sign "AMC RECEIVING". You should also see a sign for the Alzheimer's Center and Neurosciences Advanced Imaging Research Center. Turn left at the top of the hill. You will see some oxygen tanks on your left and the "Q" building. Turn left after the "Q" building. The Alzheimer's Center ("S" building) will be on your left. You may park anywhere along the front of our building.
