Sharon Alger-Mayer, MD
Dr. Alger-Mayer is an associate professor of medicine at Albany Medical College and medical director of the Northeast Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders. Dr. Alger-Mayer has extensive experience in the management of patients with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and obesity.
Joyce Bagyi, MS, RD, CDN
Joyce Bagyi is a dietician specializing in medical nutritional therapy. She works on pediatric and adult units at Albany Medical Center. She has extensive experience working with people who have eating disorders.
Ciara Covey, BA
Ciara Covey is the Senior Case Manager for the Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders of Northeastern New York. She has previous experience working in the mental health field with both adolescents and adults. Ciara is currently completing graduate courses in the School of Social Welfare at SUNY Albany.
Julie N. Morison, Ph.D.
Dr. Morison is a clinical psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry at Albany Medical Center. She is associated with the Psychiatry Practice and is the Assistant Clinic Director of the Albany Medical Center Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic. Dr. Morison provides clinical, as well as, educational services through NECCED. Her areas of interest include individual and group treatment of Eating Disorders and Personality Disorders using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Ann-Margret Foley, MSW
Ann-Margret Foley is the Project Director for the Northeast Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders. Prior to joining the NECCCED team, she previously worked for SUNY Research Foundation, as a project manager on various New York State Office of Children and Family Services evaluation and research projects.
