Nutritional Support

The AIDS program includes a team of clinical dietitians to assess nutritional needs in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The team provides recommendations to restore or maintain the best possible health status and assistance with special dietary needs. Bioimpedence analysis (BIA) is a test that is offered to all patients to evaluate and monitor distribution of body water, fat, and muscle mass. All patients are offered a complete nutritional assessment as part of their health care plan.
