The HIV mini-residency at Albany Medical Center- Albany trains physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners with up to 35 hours of free, hands-on CME AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. This experience can be used to assist you in becoming an HIV specialist. Both inpatient and outpatient clinics are used during instruction at Albany Med. For correctional providers, a rotation at the Coxsackie Correctional Facility Specialty Clinic is available. There is also a two-hour pediatric clinic for providers serving the pediatric population. Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the program.

A transportation, lodging and food stipend is available. The mini-residency coordinator will discuss travel needs with the applicant upon his/her acceptance. |
