Kathryn Schneider, FNP, AAHIVS


Kathryn Schneider, NP

Kathryn Schneider received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing. Ms. Schneider went on to train as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the same institution, where she provided clinical instruction to first year nursing students in a student-run free health care clinic while at Columbia.

Kathryn moved to Albany in 2002 and became a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner at Albany Medical College where she provided comprehensive care of acute and chronic medical conditions for a high volume adult service.

Ms. Schneider received her HIV experience graduating from the Nicholas A. Rango Clinical Scholar HIV Fellowship Program in 2010. This intensive two year program was a training program held at the Division of HIV Medicine at Albany Medical College and funded by the AIDS Institute of the New York State Department of Health. Ms. Schneider is currently a nurse practitioner at Albany Medical Center's AIDS Program.
