Privacy and comfort are priorities in Albany Medical Center's Emergency Department
Albany Med's ED features private rooms equipped with state of the art technology, and consists of four "mini-emergency rooms" within the larger facility.
Areas are specifically designated for pediatrics, trauma, minor emergencies and critical care. Each area has its own nursing station and equipment, including smaller equipment specifically designed for pediatric patients, and a separate waiting area for children.  Approximately 60,000 individuals visit Albany Med's ED for care each year.

The Albany Medical Center Advantage
Designed and built with our patients and caregivers in mind, the emergency department features private patient rooms and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
