Dr. Ivelisse Verrico Joins Albany Medical Center's Latham Med/Ped
ALBANY, N.Y. November 22, 2006--Ivelisse Ann Verrico, M.D., has joined the staff of Albany Medical Center as associate program director for internal medicine and has been appointed assistant professor of internal medicine and pediatrics at Albany Medical College. As a primary care physician, Dr. Verrico will see patients from the Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Group office located at 724 Watervliet-Shaker Road in Latham. Prior to joining Albany Med, Dr. Verrico served as an academic hospitalist at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. She also served as assistant professor of internal medicine/pediatrics at St. Louis University. Before moving to the Midwest, Dr. Verrico completed her residency training at Brown University in Rhode Island. She received her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in Piscataway.
