Kevin Sablich Achieves 'Fellow' Status Among Health Care Executives
Albany, N.Y., September 28, 2007-Kevin Sablich, director of operations of the Albany Medical Center Faculty Group Practice, has been named a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He will be formally honored with the distinction at a convocation ceremony in Chicago in March.
Sablich, who has been with the Medical Center since 2006, is the lead operations executive responsible for the daily operations of the 250-physician practice. With over 14 years of experience working in the health field, Sablich previously served as a director for the United Health Services Hospitals in Binghamton, N.Y., and as a manager at Women?s Health Connecticut in Avon, Connecticut. He holds an MBA from the University of Hartford and a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from SUNY Binghamton.
The American College of Healthcare Executives is an international professional society of more than 30,000 health care executives who lead hospitals, health care systems and other health care organizations. By meeting its stringent membership requirements, fellows of the College have earned the distinguished right to use the designation of FACHE (Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives) after their name and may refer to themselves as "board certified" in health care management.
